The historical station building of the forestry railway “Gara CFF” is located in the “Strada Cerbului No. 5”, within the area of the formerly state-owned saw mill “Viseuforest”, behind a big, yellow colored sliding gate. The station is fairish signposted from the centre of Viseu de Sus (in case of need ask people for “Mocanita”, “Gara CFF” or “Viseuforest”).

At the station you will find a every-day open (except Sunday) information point with a multilingual helpdesk and personal advice to following topics: timetable and operational days of the forestry railway train charter and special trains accommodation and shopping hiking and trekking sight seeing Arrangement of tour guides etc.

At the station you can buy (besides of train tickets) also drinks, souvenirs (post cards, books etc.) and hiking maps. A guarded parking area, clean toilets, a comfortable coffee lounge with garden and camping abilities for caravans and tents complete the touristic service at the station of the CFF Viseu de Sus.
