Saturday, 7th of August the settled Vaser Valley will meet a complete change: the classical strings of the Classis Quartet will be replaced by the rock cover concert performed by Hazard band. Used with hundreds of fans gathered in local clubs from Cluj Napoca, this band will charm us with a unique performance, heating up the night in the mountains, with world wide hits. Classic concert, Friday July 16th
We are glad to welcome you to a special event: a steam journey on symphony tunes . The “Classis” string quartet from Cluj-Napoca will give a concert in the Vaser Valley, in nature’s heart. The steam train leaves to Paltin – the location of the event - at 5 pm from the CFF train station. The ticket price is 79 RON/person. At the location of the happening you can purchase tasty grilled specialties and drinks.

Daily trains for high Season
Starting with July 1st until September 12th you can enjoy daily travels with Mocanita. Steam locos will leave every morning and will take you through the beautiful wild Vaser Valley up to Paltin station.

Full moon excursion to Paltin on June 26
For the first time in the current season, a nightly steam excursion train will run to Paltin on Saturday, June 26. A bonfire will be built next to the picknick tables, drinks and BBQ will be available. The Full Moon special leaves Viseu de Sus station at 7:30 pm and will reach Paltin around 10:00 pm, the return trip will arrive in Viseu no earlier than 1:00 am.
In order to be able to estimate the number of paticipants, we ask you to reserve your seats on +40 262 353 381 or info@cffviseu.com. Nights do get cold in the Vaser Valley, so we ask our customers to bring warm clothing.

FROM 1st OF MAY 2010 THE STEAM TRAIN RUNS AGAIN
From 1st of May 2010 "Mocăniţa" (steam train) will run Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. This program is valid from 1st of May until 30th June 2010. The route is as far Paltin, 21.6 km from town Viseu de Sus. Departure is at 8:30 am from CFF Viseu de Sus railway station (GARA CFF VISEU DE SUS). At around 10:30 am it arrives at Paltin. There will be a lunch break. It will arrive to Viseu de Sus at around 14:00 pm. Please be at the office at 8:00 am to buy the tickets.
